Bath 3rd Friday Art Walk & Drive

During the summer in Bath, Maine there is a monthly celebration of art and creativity. The 3rd Friday of every month is the Bath Art Walk and Drive. Artists open up their studios and downtown businesses that offer art exhibits, invite the public to stop in to meet the artist, sample drink and tasty morsels. This event runs from May through October and starts at 5 PM and ends when the visitors go home. I offer visitors to my studio not only a somewhat private showing of my work, but a chance to learn a little about the painting process. Visitors of all ages have dipped a brush and experimented with watercolor. After a demo on the finer points of painting wet-in-wet, visitors are allowed to show their creative "stuff", and many go home with their very own masterpiece. If you are in Bath during a 3rd Friday in the summer, I would love to meet you. If you are not one for painting, you may sit on our wrap around deck and watch the river roll by.
